Charitable initiatives that empower our communities and help us gain
perspective on
social issues.
Education
We executed a group-level project wherein we adopted an Ashramshala and undertook complete responsibility
for the space, including the infrastructure, health and nutrition, sports, extracurricular activities, and
imparting education to 540 tribal students.
We have improved teaching standards by training, providing TLM materials, conducting assessments, and
organising special activities in 101 Zilla Parishad schools under the PPP model.
Nutrition & feeding
We provided daily nutritious supplementary food to over 2,500 infants between six months and six years and
500 pregnant and lactating mothers at the Anganwadi Centre.
We also provided 5 lakh nutritious meals, which brought 60% of children out of the malnutrition net.
Environment
We set up the SP Biodiversity Garden - one of the first native biodiversity gardens in Maharashtra with
over 6000 plants of native species covering 17 thematic areas. The garden serves as a learning centre for
creating awareness about biodiversity. It has received over 3700 school students and 4000 visitors and
environmentalists.
We took up one of the largest afforestation projects by a private organization in Maharashtra in
partnership with Zilla Parishad, the local Van Panchayat samiti, and the local community. 4,00,000 native
trees have been planted and conserved in these efforts.
Supporting Raigad district
We constructed a boundary wall for a government school in Kavale village, provided stationery to aid
education in 80 government schools in the Raigad district, and sponsored a Women's Empowerment Program in
Teen Veera, Alibaug.
We also provided safe drinking water by setting up a borewell in the Wakrul and Hetawane villages of
Raigad, set up a community water plant at Wakrul and water plants for the Tehsil offices of Saswad and Pen
blocks.
We have provided emergency ambulance support to Wakrul village, donated 35 portable toilets to the Pen and
Alibaug blocks, and constructed houses for 21 tribal families in Kavale village, Raigad district.
